This spring, we produced two new PSAs with Brad Bryan Multimedia that are currently airing on Spectrum streaming and television.
Just Drive
“Just Drive” targets teen drivers in response to current data that shows that Manatee County has the highest teen crash rate in the state of Florida, and that 65% of teens presenting at our trauma center who are involved in crashes test positive for alcohol or other drugs. Our intent is to educate teens on the serious responsibility of driving and the risks of driving impaired. We featured local Youth in Action students from State College of Florida, who had submitted the winning student PSA on vaping and driving, which we then professionally produced.
I Choose Me
“I Choose Me” is our second PSA for this quarter. The targeted audience is middle school students and the message is anti-vaping. We wanted to approach the issue with a positive message of not letting vaping interfere with personal goals. We were thrilled to feature actors from Manatee School of the Arts. This is the first in a series of vaping PSAs we are doing to reach middle school students, where the use is rising.
